courthouse in Union, Franklin County, Missouri

An impromptu visit to Union, Missouri had me happy to see they had a courthouse similar to the one I grew up seeing. Union is the county seat in Franklin County, Missouri.
hay bales in Farmington, Missouri

I don't know why, but ever since I was a little girl, I have loved the sight of hay bales. They seem so pictureasque, almost like an art form. These were hay bales behind my mom & dad's place in Missouri, so I got the luxury of being able to see them quite often.
Grand Tetons, Wyoming

Teton Range, Wyoming - It was one of the most magnificent things I've ever seen. It was so beautiful it even made me a little emotional 😭😊. Such a sight to behold.

courthouse in Farmington, St Francois County, Missouri

Along with bridges and hay bales, another love of mine is courthouses. Mainly because the town that I grew up in was the county seat of St Francois County, Missouri and we had a lovely old courthouse in the middle of town. This is that courthouse in Farmington, Missouri. An interesting factoid is that I am a descendant of the Murphy's who settled Farmington, and if the county ever wanted to sell the courthouse lot, I along with the other descendants, would have to give approval. Let's hope this lovely old building always remains.
Utah landscape with red barn

If you've ever tried to snap a pic on your phone from the car as you're traveling down the highway, you know it seems nearly impossible to get a good pic. I just happened to luck into that one-in-a-million chance of getting not just a good pic, but a great one. We've taken so many road trips lately, I don't remember where we were heading 😅, but this is from a road trip we took across Utah recently.
